Product Description

The Cable Leader USB-C to Ethernet Cable runs from a USB Type-C port straight to an RJ45 network port in one cable. It comes in 6 ft, 10 ft, 15 ft and 20 ft lengths with a black PVC jacket and is rated for 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet.

The reversible USB Type-C male connector plugs into a USB-C port either way up. Use a port that carries data; USB-C ports wired for charging only do not pass network traffic. The RJ45 male plug is a standard 8P8C connector that fits the jacks on routers, network switches, modems, wall plates and patch panels.

Every length uses U/FTP construction, with each twisted pair wrapped in its own foil shield. The 6, 10 and 15 ft versions use 32 AWG conductors in a 4.2 mm outer diameter; the 20 ft version uses heavier 26 AWG conductors in a 6.2 mm outer diameter.

Use it where a wired connection is preferred over Wi-Fi: office and hot desks, home offices, conference-room tables, classroom and lab stations, and IT help-desk benches.
