Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how C-Nector Corporation DBA Cable Leader ("Cable Leader," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.cableleader.com (the "Site") or purchase our products. We are located at 13771 Roswell Ave, Suite E, Chino, CA 91710, USA.

We are currently completing a detailed review of the cookies and third-party technologies used on the Site. We will update this Policy with a full inventory when that review is complete. In the meantime, this Policy describes our practices accurately at a category level.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you create an account, place an order, request a quote, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, billing and shipping addresses, and order details.

Payment information. Payment information is collected and processed by Braintree, a PayPal service, and any other payment providers made available at checkout. These providers may collect payment and identifying information to process transactions, authenticate users, detect and prevent fraud, analyze the performance of their services, and comply with applicable law. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy notices. Cable Leader receives transaction information needed to process, fulfill, and support your order.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring website. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including third-party analytics and tag management tools described below.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: process and fulfill orders and quote requests; provide customer service; operate, secure, and improve the Site; understand how visitors use the Site; send marketing emails to subscribers (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email); and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for core functions such as your shopping cart, checkout, account login, quote requests, and site security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics — used to understand Site traffic and usage. The Site currently uses Google services, including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Marketing — used to support our email marketing and promotional activities.

Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies through browser settings. We are in the process of implementing a consent management tool that will give you direct control over non-essential cookies on the Site.

Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals

Some web browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals or other privacy preference mechanisms. The Site does not currently respond to traditional Do Not Track signals. Third-party technologies described in this Policy may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or services. We are reviewing our handling of legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as part of our consent-management implementation.

Third-Party Services

We work with service providers and technology providers, including:

  • Payment processing — Braintree (a PayPal service) and other payment providers, as described above.
  • Shipping and fulfillment — shipping platforms and carriers receive the information needed to deliver your order.
  • Analytics and tag management — Google services, as described above.
  • Email marketing — email service platforms used to send our newsletters and order-related emails.
  • Security and infrastructure — the Site is served through Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security services, and uses Google reCAPTCHA on certain forms to protect against automated abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

These providers process information under their own privacy terms and, where applicable, contractual restrictions with us. Their privacy practices may differ from ours, and we encourage you to review their applicable privacy notices.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary payment. We disclose information to service providers and technology providers for the business, security, analytics, payment, fulfillment, and marketing purposes described in this Policy. California law may define certain analytics or advertising disclosures as a "sale" or "sharing" even when no money is exchanged. We are reviewing these practices and will update this Policy and any applicable privacy choices when that review is complete.

Your Choices and Rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law; we will honor applicable requests and respond within the timeframes required by law.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to process and support transactions, provide requested services, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for business and general audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this Policy does not apply to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we will provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
