Solid core conductors allow the cable to transmit data further with fewer losses, but reducing its flexibility and the number of times it can be flexed before breaking. This 23 AWG 4-pair solid cable has a plenum jacket, which is appropriate for meeting the fire codes and safety requirements of installing cabling into the plenum spaces of commercial office buildings.
